The new owners of the Rhinebeck Deli, John & Trish Regan cannot believe it has been 1 year since they bought the Rhinebeck Deli. After being weekenders for 14 year, they found an opportunity that allowed them to realize their dream and move to Rhinebeck full-time. John brings 25 years of deli experience to the Rhinebeck Deli and it shows in the taste of his homemade salads and soups. He follows traditional recipes for his brines and broths. John began working in the deli industry at 16 years of age under the tutelage of three German cooks. He owned his own deli in Brooklyn for 6 years and was a restaurant manager for the past 10 years.
Over the last year, Rhinebeck Deli has expanded it's hours from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday, and Saturday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. The acceptance of credit cards has been a big hit.
We now offer fresh produce and locally made products like pies and pickles. The deli offers extremely competitive prices on Boar's Head cold cuts and dairy items, usually cheaper than the super markets.
The deli also offers hot meals every day for lunch and dinner. Trish faxes the daily special menu to 60 companies . In addition to lunch, many individuals are calling in their dinner orders and picking them up on the way home.
We have expanded our Vegetarian Menu. We have done sandwich platters for several Real Estates open houses and box lunches for tour groups.
Our Catering Menu has been well received as we are willing to tailor our menu to meet the needs of the customer. We have developed a Children's Party Menu. Our dining room is ideal for a children's party. We plan to develop a Senior Citizen Meal Menu and work with AARP and other local senior programs to assist with hot meals at economic prices for the senior community of Rhinebeck.
